Free counselling offer,<\/strong> aimed at promoting the well-being of children and young people aged 12\u201325<\/strong> by providing their parents and close relatives<\/strong> with the support and guidance<\/strong> they need \u2013 through a confidential space offering individual conversations, family sessions, chat, and group counselling with a focus on mental well-being for everyone.<\/p>\n

You can receive online sessions and phone counselling through headspace Family, and you can always chat or text with our counsellors as well. We\u2019re here for you, no matter where in the country you are.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Family Sessions<\/h3><\/div>

In family sessions, the focus is on the family as a whole. When a young person is struggling, it is often connected to how the entire family functions. headspace Family provides a confidential space for conversations with the whole family, focusing on the mental well-being of everyone.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Group counseling<\/span><\/h3><\/div>

We offer group counseling both online and in person. The chat is for you as a parent or caregiver of a young person aged 12 to 25 who needs someone to talk to about the frustrations and challenges you experience as a caregiver of an unhappy young person. The chat is free, anonymous and you can use us as often as you like.You can also use our anonymous SMS counseling.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

Phone counselling<\/h3><\/div>

We offer phone counselling for parents or close relatives of young people aged 12\u201325 who may be struggling, regardless of where you live. We provide a confidential space where you can sit comfortably at home and talk with us about the frustrations and challenges you experience as a relative of a young person who is struggling.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

Peer-frivillige<\/div><\/h2><\/div>

At headspace Family, you will be met by peer volunteers with lived experiences<\/p>\n

The volunteers come from diverse backgrounds and life stories, bringing both personal and professional skills.<\/p>\n

All volunteers have completed a counseling training program at headspace Family, ensuring they are well-equipped to support, guide, and help you and your family with whatever you need to talk about.<\/p>\n<\/div>
