FOMO kan ofte ses i forbindelse med brugen af sociale medier, hvor man konstant eksponeres for andres liv, og hvordan det fremst\u00e5r p\u00e5 SoMe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FOMO adskiller sig fra almindelig nysgerrighed ved at v\u00e6re mere f\u00f8lelsesladet og negativt pr\u00e6get. Nysgerrighed handler om en naturlig og positiv interesse i at vide, hvad der sker omkring \u00e9n, hvor FOMO er en form for frygt for at f\u00f8le sig udenfor og kan f\u00f8re til stress, tristhed og et pres for hele tiden at v\u00e6re opdateret.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-3 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-two\" style=\"--awb-margin-top-small:10px;--awb-margin-right-small:0px;--awb-margin-bottom-small:10px;--awb-margin-left-small:0px;\"><h2 class=\"fusion-title-heading title-heading-left fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" style=\"margin:0;--fontSize:22.5;line-height:var(--awb-typography1-line-height);\"><b>FOMO uden at vide hvorfor<\/b><\/h2><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><p>FOMO kan opst\u00e5 uden en konkret \u00e5rsag, fordi f\u00f8lelsen af ikke at v\u00e6re en del af noget ofte er indre styret snarere end den er baseret p\u00e5 faktiske begivenheder. Psykologisk h\u00e6nger det sammen med social sammenligning, hvor du hele tiden ser dig selv i relation til og op imod andres liv. Du kan samtidig have lavt selvv\u00e6rd, der g\u00f8r dig endnu mere s\u00e5rbar over for f\u00f8lelsen af at g\u00e5 glip af noget.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For at forst\u00e5 dine egne f\u00f8lelser kan det hj\u00e6lpe, at du stopper op og reflekterer: Hvad er det pr\u00e6cist, jeg f\u00f8ler, jeg mangler? Er det reelt, eller er det en forestilling? At v\u00e6re bevidst om sine m\u00f8nstre kan mindske FOMO.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Du kan opleve FOMO, fordi du sammenligner dig selv med andre, s\u00f8ger anerkendelse eller f\u00f8ler dig usikker omkring dine egne valg og relationer \u2013 og specielt her forst\u00e6rker sociale medier ofte denne f\u00f8lelse. P\u00e5 de sociale medier deler folk ofte de bedste \u00f8jeblikke i deres liv, hvilket kan skabe et glansbillede, som kan f\u00e5 dit eget liv til at fremst\u00e5 mindre sp\u00e6ndende. Denne konstante eksponering \u00f8ger tendensen til social sammenligning, hvor du vil vurdere dit eget liv op imod andres ofte urealistiske fremstillinger af \u201cdet perfekte liv\u201d. Du kan med fordel \u00f8ve dig i at v\u00e6re til stede i nuet ved at fokusere p\u00e5 det, du laver lige nu, frem for hvad \u201calle de andre laver\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Det kan hj\u00e6lpe at begr\u00e6nse din brug af sociale medier, idet sociale medier ofte forst\u00e6rker f\u00f8lelsen af at g\u00e5 glip af noget. Derfor kan du med fordel prioritere dine egne oplevelser og interesser, s\u00e5 du tr\u00e6ffer valg ud fra, hvad der giver dig v\u00e6rdi og mening.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Du kan ogs\u00e5 fors\u00f8ge at deltage i offline aktiviteter, hvor du er fysisk til stede med andre mennesker.
