At headspace Family, we are always ready to help, whether the challenges are big or small. Sometimes, more specialized services may be available that can guide you in the right direction.

You are always welcome to contact headspace Family to get help finding the right service for you.

Here is an overview of some of the services where you can also find support:

headspace is a counselling service for young people aged 12–25. Here, young people can talk completely anonymously about anything going on in their everyday lives.

Single parents can contact the Parent Foundation (Forælder Fonden) when the family faces challenges they cannot manage alone. Conflict-filled separations, disagreements about custody and visitation, financial vulnerability, and urgent housing shortages are typical examples of issues that the advisers at the Parent Foundation have helped families navigate..

Børns Vilkår works to ensure that all children in Denmark thrive and that their rights are respected. Through initiatives such as BørneTelefonen and ForældreTelefonen, they provide children and parents a safe opportunity to seek help, guidance, and to be heard. They also offer support persons and compensation assistance in cases of public neglect.

The National Home Parents Organization works to ensure the rights of home parents, increase knowledge and visibility about home life, support meaningful networks and offer counselling to home parents and relevant stakeholders.

Styrk Familierne is a non-profit NGO that works to promote well-being and create secure family relationships in Danish families. At Styrk Familierne, you can receive couples therapy, support for life after divorce, advice for everyday life with stepchildren, and much more.

The Association Against Eating Disorders and Self-Harm works to support people affected by eating disorders and self-harm, as well as their relatives, through counselling, knowledge, and community.

TUBA offers help, counselling, and therapy for young people aged 14 to 35 who have grown up in homes affected by alcohol or drug abuse. The support is free, and all staff and volunteers are bound by confidentiality.

The Anxiety & Stress Association supports people affected by anxiety, stress, and depression through counselling, information, and community, with a focus on improving quality of life. You can also find support groups where you can meet like-minded people, as well as support groups for relatives.

Livslinien offers anonymous and free counselling for people experiencing suicidal thoughts and their relatives, focusing on creating hope, preventing suicide, and breaking the taboo around mental distress.
You can contact Livslinien’s telephone counselling at 70 201 201, every day of the year from 11:00 to 05:00.

The ADHD Association works to improve conditions for people with ADHD/ADD and their relatives. The ADHD Association aims to empower people with ADHD through counselling, networks, and knowledge. The association also works politically for better resources and legislation, participates in research, and communicates about ADHD in a nuanced and positive way.

The Autism Association works to ensure the best possible living conditions for people with autism. The association represents children, young people, and adults with autism and advocates for their interests both locally and nationally. Its purpose is to increase awareness of autism and foster greater understanding of the challenges that autistic people may face.

The OCD Association is a nationwide organization that works to improve conditions for people with OCD and their relatives. The association offers counselling, networks, and information, and advocates politically for better access to specialized treatment. In addition, the OCD Association promotes research and collaboration both nationally and internationally.

Internet Psychiatry is a public, free treatment service for anxiety and depression for adults over 18, with no referral required. The service is operated by the Center for Digital Psychiatry in the Region of Southern Denmark and is provided by psychologists and specialists based in Odense.
