Poul Nyrup's new book is out
Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, founder and patron of the Social Network and headspace Denmark, is now publishing his memoirs from his years as Prime Minister to the present day.
In the book ”Can't we do a little better”, he talks about the lines of his life over the last 30 years: the national, the global and the mind. The three main lines are all inextricably linked to what the former Prime Minister is all about: the joys of an active life and the losses and powerlessness he has experienced along the way.
Not to mention the moments where he rediscovered meaning and created action around some of life's essential questions. The driving force has always been to use his power to change the world for the benefit of as many people as possible - and to constantly ask: Can't we do a little better?

The work for mentally vulnerable young people
The last third of the book is dedicated to Poul Nyrup Rasmussen's work with mentally vulnerable young people in, among other things, The Social Network and the several initiatives we have launched in the organization, including headspace Denmark.
It fills us at The Social Network with enormous joy and pride that Poul and our joint efforts and dedication to making a difference for mentally vulnerable young people will now reach even more people and with the book be inscribed in recent Danish history.
We will continue to work hard to ensure that his vision and ambitions on behalf of this and future generations of young people reach as many as possible and are realized in his spirit - not only at home, but also in the world.
Because we know there's enough to do - so why not do it a little better?
The book is in stores tomorrow and can be pre-ordered here: Can't we do a little better | Lindhardt og Ringhof
