This weekend headspace Horsens was at Classic Race in Viborg, where the charity organization Ræs med hjertet chose to donate the money from their charity race to Sikker Trafik and headspace this year.A total of DKK 371,500 was collected to share, which meant that headspace received a donation of DKK 185,750 at the end of the day. The money was raised by allowing visitors to pay a fee and get a ride around the track with one of the racing drivers. Fortunately, many were happy to do so.

And this pleases center manager Heidi Quist from headspace Horsens:

”We are very proud to receive the donation as it makes a huge difference to the children and young people who attend our local Headspace centers. It has been a great experience to be involved and we have met so many dedicated people who really do everything they can to raise as much money as possible for the benefit of so many children and young people.”

Youth advisors and volunteers worked with the Race with Heart team to get as many people as possible out for a ride. But of course, there was also time to talk to the younger audience about headspace.

”We got to talk to many young people during the event about talking to someone - having a place like headspace to go to when you're struggling. It was a successful weekend and we hope for much more collaboration in the future for the benefit of children and young people”

Thank you to Classic Race Viborg and Ræs med hjertet as well as the drivers who made themselves and their cars available for the charity race. A big thank you also goes to the volunteers and staff from headspace Aalborg, Billund and Horsens who participated in Viborg.
